Although the Kaulitz twins are just 23 years old, they have already experienced and have seen a lot. Even at teenage times, Bill (23) and Tom Kaulitz (23) along with their friends Georg and Gustav with the band Tokio Hotel, which at that time was still called "Devilish". Exactly seven years managed the four major breakthrough. Tokio Hotel hit the charts and celebrated both nationally and internationally with great success. But two years ago, the twins decided then - for many reasons, quite suddenly - move to America and thus also to withdraw from public life.
There were not only the new impressions on the twins, but suddenly new tasks to which they have had to get used to yet. Tom tells to the Süddeutsche Zeitung: "It was quite a change. When we're with the band on tour, we have a very large team, and you just say what you need. And now there were moments when I had to look after themselves to things to which I have never coped before in my life. There were already situations where I was overwhelmed, but I wanted it otherwise ... " Of course, he also has an example of the same hand: "For example, when I applied for my California driver's license in Los Angeles. Then I thought: "huh, you’ve got to wait in some shitty line for such a long time? You just stand around for a whole day to give them your photo?"
But now, the twins have certainly used to the life and autonomy. After all, they have lived two years in America and there they took everything into his own hands.
